Florida may want an SR-22 — or an FR-44 after a DUI

Florida DHSMV can require an SR-22 after a crash or a lapse. After certain DUI convictions the letter says FR-44 instead. That is the same kind of insurer filing, usually with much higher liability limits than Florida’s standard 10/20/10. Read the form name before you call. We quote the one on your letter.
